Tour of the console
Map of the MASAIC workspace sidebar: ten entries — Masaic Assistant, Agents, Dashboard, Notifications, Agent Playground, Workflows, Quality, Distribution, Resources and Settings — and the menus inside each area.
After you open a project, the workspace sidebar starts with the Masaic logo and shows one short list of entries. The bar above every page holds the button that folds the sidebar, the path — starting with the workspace, where you switch it — and the buttons for the Masaic Assistant and Help. Each says in one line where it leads: point at an entry to read it, a screen reader reads it with the entry, and on a phone it shows under the entry's name. Your tenant may hide entries based on role, plan or feature flags, but the structure below matches the live product.
Before you open a project
On Personal Account you see Home (your Projects list), Profile, and Billing. Agent configuration lives under a team project, not on the personal home screen alone.
The entries
| Entry | Where it leads |
|---|---|
| Masaic Assistant | Ask the Masaic Agent to build, change or explain. Shown first when the assistant is switched on for your workspace. |
| Agents | Your agents, each with everything that belongs to it: create one, then build, evaluate, release and configure it on its own page. |
| Dashboard | How the workspace is doing. |
| Notifications | What needs your attention (guide). |
| Agent Playground | Talk to one of your agents: streaming text, and voice when enabled (guide). |
| Workflows | Workflow runs, automation tasks and definitions. |
| Quality | Tests, run review and operations. |
| Distribution | What you offer your customers. Shown in a publisher workspace only. |
| Resources | Prompts, skills, models, tools and test data shared by your agents. |
| Settings | Workspace, members, billing and release settings. |
Exactly one entry is highlighted: the one for the page you are on.
Areas and their menus
Workflows, Quality, Distribution, Resources and Settings each open an area. An area is a page with a menu beside it, grouped by what the pages are for. The menu has a search field at the top: type a few letters and it narrows to the pages that match.
Resources
| Group | Pages |
|---|---|
| Content | Prompts (create one), Personalities (guide), Skills (skills vs. resources), Resources (ground-truth content attached to a turn), Knowledge Base (guide), What agents remember (what agents keep about you), Safety (guardrails) |
| Models & tools | AI Models (add a model), MCP Servers (connect an MCP tool), and Extensions when the marketplace is enabled |
| Connections | Channels (guide), Integrations (guide), Hook deliveries. Not in a publisher workspace. |
| Test data | Personas (guide), Mock Users (guide), Test Sets (guide) |
Workflows
| Group | Pages |
|---|---|
| Runs and automation | Workflow runs, Automation Tasks (guide), and Workflow definitions (the workflow builder) when workflow authoring is enabled |
Quality
| Group | Pages |
|---|---|
| Testing | Tests: AI-native test cases and suites across channels (testing and release) |
| Review | Conversations: open a thread for its transcript, traces and timeline (conversation review). Annotations: rubric-based review |
| Operations | Governance & Safety, Runtime Health, Circuit Breakers |
Distribution
| Group | Pages |
|---|---|
| Offer | Offerings, Customers and Services, each shown to those whose role may see it |
Settings
Settings holds the workspace's administration, in these groups:
- Personal: your profile.
- Workspace: details, billing and usage.
- Access: members and service accounts (teams and access).
- Release: environments, feature flags and deployments.
- Security: customer sign-in and secrets.
- Advanced: phone and voice.
You see the groups your role allows.
How the pieces connect
A practical mental model:
- Design: an agent's page, and the shared content, models and tools under Resources (build).
- Validate: the Agent Playground, and the tests under Quality (testing and release).
- Release: environments and deployments under Settings › Release (safe rollouts).
- Run and observe: the conversations and annotations under Quality, which show what agents actually did in production.
